St. Mary's Catholic School

  • Lunch in the LOFT

    Every class gets to eat lunch in the LOFT one time a semester.  The students eat family style and learn about setting tables and dining etiquette.  A special guest is invited for good food and conversation.

  • Class Field Trips

    Every student usually gets to go on at least one field trip a year.  The field trips are fun and educational.  Parents usually help transport the students.    

  • Rock Star

    Father is always a big hit when he comes to eat lunch with the school kids.

  • Fourth Grade - Rock Collection

    The fourth grade class shows and discusses their rock collections with the kindergarten class.    

  • Homecoming Parade

    St. Mary's 6th Graders participated in Ellis High School's Homecoming Parade.  The 6th grade class operates the Dominic Savio Club.  Dominic Savio is a saint for teenagers.

  • Father Visits With the Students

    Each week Fr. Dana visits each classroom.  He answers questions and teaches the students about their faith.  You might even see him joining in on classroom activities.

  • Wellness Program

    St. Mary's participates in a variety of healthy activities, including a wellness walk to school event.

  • St. Mary's Group Picture

    St. Mary's Catholic School is a gift to our parish and community:  Our mission is to build a foundation for our students, both academically and spiritually, by teaching God's message of love as taught by Jesus Christ.      

  • Food Pantry

    The St. Mary's students helped collect many items for the Ellis Food Pantry.  These items will be used for the Food Boxes.  Great job students!!

  • Welcome to St. Mary’s Catholic School

    Jesus, Mary, and Joseph are in the foyer to greet our students.   Morning prayer, bible readings, and announcements are presented to all the students every morning.

  • Recycling

    The entire school learns about recycling.  The fourth grade class is responsible for collecting, sorting, and delivering recycled items to the Ellis City Recycling Center.  Keep up the good work.

  • Pet Blessing

    St. Mary's Catholic School had its annual pet blessing in front of the school.
